Business Strategy & Operations
- We analyzed current operations, developed a new business strategy, and assisted finding ways to transition business units from a product oriented to a user centric service business on fee for service basis.
- We helped quantify failures to meet QoS or SLA requirements, determine the source of the failures, and identified and established new quality measures.
IT Strategy & Architecture
- We reviewed the existing enterprise architecture and defined a new upgraded standard enterprise architecture.
- We reviewed and revised the existing application and infrastructure architecture to support the transition.
- We analyzed the proposed new architecture and design for future upgrades and identified and recommended key changes.
IT Operations
- We assisted in identifying and analyzing alternatives, selecting and implementing a new development process including a new project management process, and provided an interim CIO.
- We established a new set of procedures for weekly operational reporting, examined all IT procurement contracts, made reductions where possible, and assisted the client to re-negotiate certain selected supplier contracts.
- We assisted with the restructuring of an entire internal IT operation as part of the effort to identify opportunities to reduce headcount. This effort included the consolidation of all existing internal data centers into
3 facilities, upgrades to Global WAN, Global Intranet, End User computing, a new Demand Management Forecasting and a new Client Management Architecture.
